Woman assaulted in robbery

Bay of Plenty Police investigating a robbery in Tokoroa are hoping someone will recognise who the alleged offenders are.

'They are hiding their faces, but we are hoping someone will recognise them from their clothing and movements,” says a post on the Bay of Plenty Police Facebook page.


Police are hoping to identify these people. Watch the videos of the alleged offenders entering and fleeing the scene below.

'They robbed the superette on Kauri Street, Tokoroa, at about 5pm on Friday, May 13. During the robbery, a female staff member was assaulted. After leaving the store with cigarettes, the trio ran towards Hinau Street.”

Anyone with information that can help identify the people in the video are asked to contact Tokoroa Police in 07 885 0100.

Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously via the Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 line.

easy solution. Stop selling tobacco just like the pharmacists did with ephedrine based medcines....I ,for one, wont miss it.
