I hope everone involved is OK! There was no ACCIDENT ahead warnings coming from Turret Road (3.5 hours later 2pm) We knew there was work going on at the overpass until 12pm, everyone going right at the roundabout (Welcome Bay/Hamilton traffic, did the right thing and merged into Right lane and so Mount and Maungatapu traffic could continue BUT when we finally got to the round about EVERYONE was turned towards Welcome Bay (no warning or detour suggestions???). IF drivers knew earlier they could have gone via Greeton or back thru town to Bridge. fair enough at 10.30am - 11am BUT 2pm, still no diversions, when road is fully CLOSED.:(
