Next week most of us will be back at work, with our summer holiday little more than a wonderful memory.

We still have to fill up our cars, though, and the question on everyone's mind is – will prices drop when the tourists go home?

This week we visited 10 petrol stations across the city to find the one with the best deal. As usual, Mobil Chapel Street came out as the cheapest, but only by a whisker, at $1.76 per litre for Regular 91.

Most stations are offering it at around $1.86.
