Passed away at Tauranga Hospital on 13 January 2017, aged 92. Best friend and beloved husband of Betty, and cherished father of Paul, Megan and Jaynie. Loved and admired father-in-law of Craig, Steve and Isobel, and his seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A true national treasure who will be greatly missed, but never forgotten, by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A service to celebrate Pic's wonderful life will be held at Saint Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, cnr Elizabeth Street and Cameron Road Tauranga on Friday 20^th January at 11.00am followed by private cremation. All communications to ‘The Parkhouse Family' c/o 25 Ninth Avenue Tauranga.
