Served regardless

Re: ‘Simon's menacing cheesecutter', (The Weekend Sun, January 13). I had a similar confrontation and by chance there was man being served at another counter wearing a turban. I demanded the bank make that man remove his turban and then I'd remove my cap. I told them nobody will ever hold a bank up with a hat; it will be a gun or a knife. Next tactic I asked the teller to look up my accounts. Then told her that's how much money I'll be transferring to another bank if she continued with this charade. ‘Now serve me or get the manager.' I was served without another word. We have to stand up these establishments and fashion gestapo, who will come up with all sorts of reasons why they don't want hats or sunglasses worn in the bank - all of which will border on insanity.
