A house was entirely consumed by fire in Paengaroa last night.
Emergency services responded to multiple calls regarding the fire at a Showground Road address, at around 7.30pm.
A fire service spokesperson says the structure was fully engulfed in fire when they arrived at the scene.
The fire was extinguished, and is not considered suspicious.
However, a fire investigator was called, and is expected to be returning to the scene this morning.
