Police have serious concerns for the safety of a Thames woman who has been missing for more than a fortnight.

Anne Louise Gibbons was last seen near Te Puru Holiday Park north of Thames on the Coromandel Peninsula on Wednesday, February 1.

All of the missing 56-year-old woman's possessions remain at the holiday park where she had been staying in tent since the beginning of January, reports Fairfax.

Anne didn't have a vehicle and was believed to have been dropped off at the holiday park.
