Today is the annual Eves Realty Dynamic Duo Parent Child Tournament hosted at the Papamoa Tennis Club.

This year - its third - there are 64 entries divided into 32 teams playing on the courts.

Tournament convenor Michele Hartley, dressed in a wig and rainbow coloured socks, says this is about parents and children having a fun family day of tennis.

A dunking machine for parents and children to cool off after a hot game of tennis has been filled up by the Papamoa fire station.

Sponsored by Eves Realty, Papamoa Foursquare, Dialled Tramp Park, Wilson Tennis and Rocktopia there are prizes for fancy dress, best team name and division winners. Every child goes home with a prize.

This year part of the entry fee also includes a donation to Tauranga Foodbank.

Olie Nilsson (10) with some of the prizes.
