Heavy rain is being forecast to lash the Bay of Plenty tomorrow.
The MetService has issued a severe weather watch for heavy rain expected to belt the North Island, from Northland to Western Bay of Plenty from tomorrow through to Thursday.
'A humid north to northeast airstream is expected to spread over the upper North Island Tuesday afternoon and evening as a low moves slowly south over the Tasman Sea,” says the MetService.
'Rain with heavy, possibly thundery, falls is expected from Northland to western Bay of Plenty from late Tuesday through into Thursday.”
