Flocks of oyster catchers, red-billed and black-backed gulls are enjoying a sumptuous feast of shellfish this morning on the beach below the Mount Cenotaph.
The sun has dawned on what promises to be a fine day with south westerlies developing in the evening.
It's a two-layer of clothing day but still remember to wear sun protection between 10am and 2pm.
