Jan passed away peacefully at Waipuna Hospice on Wednesday 28 April 2017, after a long illness, with his loving wife Marjorie at his side. Loving father of Marijke, Catherine and Karen and their partners Jim, Ross and Brian. Cherished grandpa of Leon, the late Emile; Jessica, Ben and Brooke. Huge thanks to all the doctors and nursing staff at Tauranga Hospital and Waipuna Hospice. A celebration of Jan's life will be held at St Andrews Presbyterian Church, Dee Street Mt. Maunganui on Wednesday 3 May 2017 at 1:30pm, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred posted to Waipuna Hospice, P.O. Box 1156 Tauranga, would be much appreciated.
