A rock fall has blocked a section of State Highway 25 from Thames to Coromandel.
Rocks are blocking the southbound lane of SH25 at Ruamahunga Bay. Between Tapu and Waiomu. New Zealand Transport Agency reports a stop/go traffic management system is in place.
Motorists are advised to expect delays or to avoid the area completely.

Could I suggest you all at least take a look at Te Papa and what it has done for Wellington. They say you often have to queue up to get into the place. And to think how controversial it was when first mooted. Those guns have all fallen silent lately. Funny how that happens.
