Seal repairs along State Highway 36, between Tauranga and Rotorua, may cause some slight travel delays.
The road works are taking place on the highway between Oropi Gorge Road and Williams Road today.
The NZTA says one lane will be closed with a stop/go traffic management system in place.
A 30km/h speed restriction will also be in place.
The road works are expected to be completed around 4pm tomorrow.
