Police have released the name of a man killed in a crash in Taupo in the weekend.
'Joseph Sebo Wiremu, 49, died in a crash on Broadlands Road, Taupo, on Saturday,” says a statement from police released this afternoon.
'Police's thoughts are with Mr Wiremu's friends and family at this time, while the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.”
Police say Joseph died at the scene.
No other information is available at this time.
