Motorists are being warned to expect delays as emergency services deal with a crash in Mount Maunganui.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says a person has been hit by a vehicle on Golf Road.
"One lane of the road is blocked and St John Paramedics are tending to the pedestrian."
Police are working to establish what has happened and advised motorist to either expect delays or avoid the area if possible.
