There's been a two car crash at SH29/Cambridge Road

UPDATED: 5.15pm: Traffic is backing up on SH29 following a crash between two cars at the intersection of SH29 and Cambridge road at about 4.45pm.

Sunlive was contacted to say the accident had happened and that traffic in both directions has stopped

A person as the scene says Fire engine & ambulance there, a driver's door has been hit, and it looked like they were about to cut someone out. Cars are backed up both ways but road not completely blocked.

IS this near Tauriko, its the most NASTY corner, all cars comming up hill from toll rd end should giveway there as somedays (most days) its backed up to the cafe and garden centre, its all the parents taking their RATBAGS to the POSH SCHOOL in bethlhem, up hill cars should at least stop to let Cambridge rd go and stop roadrage, (i know as ive waited in that Q ) with a load of fruit, it took nearly half hr to go up and turn right to Tauriko, my thoughts only, and this would work if someone would listen, BUT NO one will.Thankyou,10-4 out.
