A driver of a vehicle involved in a four-car collision on Cameron Road this morning has sustained minor injuries.

Four cars were involved in the accident which happened outside of Gilmour's just after 11am.

The incident occurred after a vehicle sped in front of three cars and fled the scene.

One of the vehicles involved was driven by Chanchal Saraswat, who had her son in the car with her at the time. She says she sustained minor injuries.

'I stopped all of a sudden, which meant the girl in the third car bumped into me.

'I only had minor injuries, my son is okay,” she says.

She says the driver in the third car sustained moderate injuries.

'The third car was a girl who was really injured and she was taken to hospital,” says Chanchal.

Driving, means actually being AWARE of what is going on around ones vehicle, not just steering and looking straight ahead. I would love to know how a vehicle sped in front of the silver car and fled? What did they flee from? They weren't involved in the accident were they? If they pulled out and accellerated away, doesn't mean the white car should have jammed on the brakes? If the car sped away, there was no need to stop? The silver car should have been watching for poor drivers who jam on their brakes at the drop of a hat... so, to me, the white car CAUSED the accident, but the silver car will get the blame... and the 'fictuous' speedster had nothing to do with it.... drivers, especially those with their children in the car, need to be more aware of what's going on around them
