Two bodies found in Mamaku Forest

Police searching for Raymond and James Fleet have today found two bodies in the Mamaku Forest.

The uncle and nephew were reported missing on Wednesday August 9.

While the bodies are yet to be formally identified, police at this stage believe they are the missing men.

Post mortems will be conducted to assist in the identification and to determine cause of death.

Police are treating the deaths as suspicious, and a scene examination will continue tomorrow.
