On 16 August 2017, after a tragic accident, at the Marina in Tauranga, aged 55 years. So dearly loved son of Colin Martin and Shirley Woodmass. Dearly loved brother of Dianne and Phil Neal, Allison and Henry Van Hout. Dearly loved special uncle of his many nieces and nephews, and great uncle of his great nieces and great nephews. ‘Sail away Garry dear son, where the seagulls fly, to where the ocean meets the sky, forever in our hearts'. A celebration of Garry's life, will be held at St Andrews Presbyterian Church Dee Street, Mt Maunganui, on Tuesday 22 August at 11am, followed by private cremation.
