The driver of a car that hit a bank near the top of Oropi Road this afternoon is believed to have suffered minor injuries, say police.
The car struck the bank near the intersection with Lloyds Lane at about 3.40pm. The cause is unknown.
Western Bay of Plenty road policing manager Senior Sergeant Ian Campion says they have also been notified of a two car crash on Papamoa Beach Road near Barbados Quay. There are no other details available at this stage.
