Three crashes in 45 minutes in Tauranga

Police have attended the scene of three crashes in Tauranga this morning.

A police media spokesperson says a truck and two cars collided on the Harbour Bridge, just before 8.30am.

Police attended the scene and say there were no injuries to any of the drivers and the road is now clear.

Following this, another crash was also reported on SH29a near Mangatapu.

A truck collided with a car between Maungatapu Rd and Taipari St off ramp at 9am, say police.

There were no injuries and the road has now been cleared.

The third crash was called in at 9.15am in Gate Pa.

'The crash involved two cars and happened on Tuthill St near Hynds Rd. There are no injuries to either driver.

'The road is partially blocked and a tow truck has been called.”

Good idea to keep your distance at all times. If you're towing a trailer full of timber it makes even more sense. Astounding.

He did keep his distance someone went into the back of him causing him to hit the person in front of him.
