Wairoa Bridge works, delays expected

Repair work taking place on the Wairoa Bridge.

Motorists travelling along State Highway 2, between Tauranga and Te Puna, are being warned to expect delays.

NZ Transport Agency contractors are carrying out repair works on the Wairoa Bridge.

Stop/go traffic management is in place, along with 30km/h speed restrictions.

According to the NZTA, the works will be taking place from 7pm to 5am today and tomorrow.

Delays are expected during these times.

some idiots where doing a guard rail work on the expressway causing massive traffic delays back to the bridge, why dont they do this at night

The Te Puna roundabout was a shabbles, so NZTA are immediately embarking on the next phase ... move along the road 10 paces and do it all again.
