Mayor Greg Brownless was one amongst many who attended the recent opening of Cherrywood Shopping Centre's most recent addition.

Cooper Young Construction recently celebrated the opening of their new office/showroom in the centre.

Greg says he was more than happy to attend.

'When any business invites me along to something they want to celebrate I'm happy to go along as long as I'm free at the time,” says Greg.

'Not to mention, sometimes there's a bit of food there.

'It's good to support people who are investing in the area, in their case it was a shop that was empty and they've done it up.

'It's a place that is reasonably easy to access and the business does a lot of work in the area so those locals can now actually look at the products and services they offer.”

The Tauranga company specialises in refurbishments, renovations and alterations to residential and commercial buildings; commercial and residential insurance repairs and rebuilds; project management; office interior fit-outs; commercial fit-outs and retail fit outs; commercial property maintenance and seismic strengthening.

Home Cleanse, is a further division of the company which, assists with methamphetamine decontamination and cleaning.
