Early labour and cardiac emergency

A woman who went into premature labour and another suffering from a cardiac emergency had to be flown to Waikato Hospital.

Today, the Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was dispatched by Tauranga Hospital for an emergency transport of a 32-year-old woman who had gone into premature labour on Tuesday.

“The woman for airlifted to Waikato Hospital for specialist treatment,” says a spokesperson for the rescue chopper.

“The previous day, the Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was dispatched at about 10pm for an emergency transport of a 58-year-old woman, who was suffering a cardiac medical emergency.”

The woman was airlifted from Tauranga Hospital to Waikato Hospital for specialist treatment.

“The flight was conducted under the use of Night Vision Goggles.”

That headline "early Labour" was scary. For a minute there I thought Wflintstone had made a bad choice.
