Highway blocked after truck rolls

UPDATED 12PM: The road is now clear in both directions.

EARLIER:

A logging truck has rolled this morning, blocking a section of State Highway 5.

The accident occurred between Reporoa Road and Homestead Road, just before 7am.

A police spokesperson says the driver is reported to be out of the vehicle, and is not thought to be injured.

However, both lanes of the highway are blocked.

Motorists can expect delays, and are asked to avoid the area if possible.
