With rain threatening to come and many events already canceled for Guy Fawkes, The Little Big Market will also be postponed.

The well-known market that has live music, street food, craft stalls, artisan products and pony rides will be postponed.

The new date of The Little Big Market will be Sunday, November 5 at Coronation Park, Mount Maunganui from 9am-2pm.

"The weather god's are taking a bit of a break this Saturday, with rain headed our way. But they'll be back to it, bringing some epic sunshine to Mount Maungnaui on Sunday," says event coordinator Hannah Wynn.

The Little Big Markets were launched in the summer of 2009 with a simple vision, which was to create a place that would bring communities together.

A place where people could hang out and enjoy their surroundings, enjoy great music, good food and have the opportunity to buy only the best products from a select range of artisans and producers.
