One driver has been taken to Tauranga Hospital with serious injuries after a crash near Fraser Cove this afternoon.
A police media spokesperson confirmed the accident occurred on Fraser St, outside the Fraser Cove shopping center just before 1pm.
'Police received a report of a vehicle collision involving a car and a truck at around 12.40pm.
'One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
Earlier in the afternoon, Police were also alerted to a crash on the roundabout of State Highway 29 and State Highway 36 near Tauriko.
'There was a vehicle collision involving a car and a motorbike just after 12.30pm.
'It appears the road was blocked for a short time but had cleared by about 1.10pm and the motorcyclist also appears to have moderate injuries.”

There was also a crash at the roundabout next to Z in Bethlehem this morning. Came though there at about 9.30am. Police and Ambulance were there.
