Autistic man missing for two weeks

Nigel Peterson went missing on November 17.

Police are renewing an appeal for information to help them locate a missing Bay of Plenty autistic man.

Nigel Peterson went missing in the Rotorua area about two weeks ago.

Police say the 33-year-old man left a caregiver at about 3pm on Friday November 17 and disappeared near Old Taupo Road.

“Nigel is autistic and Police and his family are increasingly concerned for his safety.

“Despite extensive searches, Nigel is still missing.” If you've seen Nigel or know where he is, please call Rotorua Police on 07 348 0099.
