Car goes off road near Maungatapu

A car has reported to have gone off the road near Maungatapu this morning.

A SunLive reader emailed in to say there is an accident on State Highway 29A, towards Maungatapu from Bayfair.

"Car almost went off the bank.. traffic is slow.”

It's unclear if anyone has been injured.

SunLive is working on getting more information from police and will update this story as soon as we have something more.

4X4 at fault

Emma campbell says the 4x4 had rammed the vehicle from behind very hard, so must have been travelling too fast as current speed there is 50Kms/hr and caused the driver to go off the road and into the shrubs, very lucky it stopped there, could have been worse

Good driving to park your car in a shrub- I always thought a shrub was a rather small plant...
