Woman killed in Matamata crash named

Police have released the name of the woman who was killed following a crash near Pohlen Road, Waikato on Sunday.

She is 38-year-old Jocelyn Irene Williams of Hastings.

Jocelyn died following a single vehicle crash on State Highway 27 near Matamata.

Two children who were travelling in the car at the time were critically injured in the crash.

A man who was also in the car at the time was reported as being in a serious condition.

“Our condolences are extended to the family and friends of Jocelyn,” says a police media spokesperson.
