Tairäwhiti Police CIB are investigating an incident that happened this morning at about 9.15 in the CBD near the intersection of Gladstone Rd and Lowe Street, Gisborne. The incident involved two men. Both men are known to each other. One man was stabbed during the incident and required hospital treatment. The other man, a 36-year-old, has been arrested and charged with wounding with intent to injure. He will appear in the Gisborne District Court today. Source: Gisborne Police.
