Photographs to honour veterans

World War II veterans from the Bay of Plenty will be photographed this Anzac Day as part of a national project of the NZ Institute of Professional Photography.

Bay members of the institute are busy setting up studios in the region's RSAs where they will take photographs of the veterans attending Anzac Day services.

Veterans attend a previous Anzac service.

Bay of Plenty photography coordinator Mark McKeown says the photographs will culminate in a national exhibition honouring the former soldiers.

The project is instigated by the NZIPP and photographers involved are volunteering their time.
