Easter fun at Greerton

Children searched high and low and left no stone unturned at Greerton Village today as they hunting for Easter eggs in the square.

The annual Greerton Village Easter Car Show was set to start at 8.30am but was cancelled due to wet grounds.

Cancelling the Easter egg hunt was never an option, says Greerton Mainstreet manager Victoria Thomas.

'We just thought we would wing it, and actually it's turned out beautiful today.”

The egg hunt kicked off at 11am.

More than 50 children split into appropriate age groups, set off to find the 10kg of hidden chocolate, buried under and up trees, in gardens and inside stores.
