Pageant finalist raffles firewood

Miss Universe New Zealand finalist Zeta Fraser is busy on her pageant campaign trail and is starting her fundraising campaign.

The Papamoa resident has to fundraise as part of the Miss Universe New Zealand pageant.

'We are fundraising for the children's charity Varity and 50 per cent of the money will also go towards the Miss Universe journey.”

The 21-year-old is running a raffle with two prizes of two cubic metres of firewood, which was donated to her by a Tauranga businessman.

Raffle tickets are $2 each and can be bought from Zone cafe in Bayfair.

'To enter you must live within the Tauranga, Mount Maunganui and Papamoa boundaries, as the winners will also have the firewood delivered directly to their home.”

Zeta was announced as a finalist in the Miss Universe New Zealand pageant earlier this month after being named as one of four wild cards to make it through to the finals.

She says she was amazed when she got the call, because she didn't get through to the top 23 last month. Read more here.

love to see her chop through two cubic metres of firewood let alone 4, but to discuss a price on her completing each block is another story but good on her anyhow
