Deputy Prime Minister Bill English is in town today, speaking at a public meeting in Mount Maunganui.
The Minister of Finance is speaking at Club Mount Maunganui in what will be his final push to Tauranga voters ahead of Saturday's election.

He is joined by Tauranga MP Simon Bridges and Bay of Plenty National candidate Todd Muller.
Bill last visited Tauranga in June where he spoke about Tauranga City's housing dilemma and how it should rest on Tauranga City Council's shoulders.

Always like Bill English's humour and twinkle in his eye and great repartee he has with the PM too. I was really sorry I could not attend today
