Hawera Police have now charged a man in relation to the death of Deanne Cooper who was killed while jogging on Ohangai Road, Hawera, on 26 May, 2014.
Following an extensive inquiry phase, a 29-year-old Hawera man was charged with aggravated careless driving causing death yesterday (30 September, 2014).
He will appear in the Hawera District Court on Tuesday 7 October, 2014.
