National-Maori party agreement

National Party Leader John Key today announced the Relationship Accord and confidence and supply agreement with the Maori Party co-leaders Te Ururoa Flavell and Tariana Turia.

'I welcome this agreement with the Maori Party,” says Mr Key.

'I look forward to working with Maori Party Co-Leader Te Ururoa Flavell and building on the successful relationship the National Party and the Maori Party have shared over the past six years.

'The agreement gives the National-led Government confidence and supply support throughout this term.

'Mr Flavell will be appointed Minister for Maori Development, Minister for Whanau Ora, and Associate Minister for Economic Development.

'In addition, National has agreed to work with the Maori Party on a range of priority policy areas including Whanau Ora, the Ministerial Committee on Poverty, and Maori economic and regional development. These are outlined in the confidence and supply agreement.

'I look forward to working with the Maori Party over the next three years,'' says Mr Key.

'The Maori Party has brought an important dimension to this Government over the past six years. It is one of the reasons why we have a positive and forward-looking relationship between iwi and the Crown. I have no doubt that New Zealand is a better country because of it.”

If you followed Maori politics, you would know Mr Harawira has little chance of ever reconciling with the Maori Party. Just by the way groutby, how many politicians of any race, can you absolutely trust? Robin Bell.

ANOTHER 3 YEARS OF RORTS!

Flavell's first job will be to"coverup the $6 million to Whakatane-based Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi that supply an 18 week tourism course compressed into one day. Even cheeky enough to shout the Warriors a day there to pick up a degree, now lets all sit back and watch this unfold. The only thing for sure is it will end in excuses. Remember the investigation into the Kohanga Reo, or lack of it?

ANOTHER 3 YEARS OF EXCUSES

Posted on 15-10-2014 17:20 | By crazyhorse

Maori Party, co-leader Te Ururoa Flavell is again recycling his 'racist justice system” allegations by calling for a review to find out why young Maori become increasingly over represented in youth crime statistics. Six years ago, Maori represented 48 per cent of youths facing charges in the Youth Court. The latest figures reveal that has jumped to 57 per cent. Outgoing Police Minister Anne Tolley disputed the claims of racism by saying "police prosecute people because they commit a crime, not because of their race". Flavell appears oblivious that Maori commit a staggering greater number of offences. especially crimes involving "extreme violence". Flavell's call for a review to find out why the justice system is allegedly failing Maori is either dopey in the extreme or a cynical attempt to blame the wicked white coloniser in a bid to raise his profile in Parliament. Nationals prefered ""partner"" da Maori party!

John Key, along with most, 90% understand the importance of raising the self respect, and dignity of many Maori and Pacific Islanders.Crazy-hoss does not,nor does carc-ass. The recent trouncing at the election, has taught them nothing. Robin Bell.

LOL!!!!

Yeah Hone and the maori party carved it up big time ah Bell, shows you Maori are as embarrassed about it as everyone else, Johny Key won simply because there was no one else to vote for, how about Winstone though not bad for an old fella!!!!, might keep them a bit more honest than usual??.

TOP TROUGHERS IN GOV'T

Posted on 17-10-2014 15:59 | By crazyhorse

In the last quarter before the election the top troughers the biggest spenders of K1WI'S taxmoney in parliament were "Disgraced" National backbencher Claudette Hauiti $30,824, plus what she "borrowed", Hone Harawira holds on to his title as the highest-spending MP, racking $52,845 - more than twice that of Labour leader David Cunliffe, who spent $24,154, Hone also spent the least time in parliament, as in at work, Maori Party leader Te Ururoa Flavell ($37,226),As usual, Prime Minister John Key sits top of the list, spending more than $65,000 on travel and accommodation from April to June, followed by Maori Affairs Minister Pita Sharples who claimed almost 46,000,what is it about these people, they can't be happy with a "fair portion" like the rest???. Didn't do Hone any good in the end. Met up with Dotcom and went from the Mana {pride} party to the "Koha party, the rest, history.

More meaningless

drivel from crazy-hoss.If you really need to tackle the spending of Parliamentarians,do it without your obvious racial bias. The tactic hasn't worked, and it never will. I've told you many times,it's not the majority of N.Zers that support you, It is a prejudiced minority. We don't need your 'take' on things,we can actually work it out for ourselves, believe it or not. Robin Bell.

RACIST

Posted on 18-10-2014 21:42 | By crazyhorse

I do not "crawl" my way into local council, local gov't or separatist systems paid for completely by K1W1'S tax money, I merely point the people who do, I do not crawl my way into a position of trust pretending to push the rights of a so called indigenous people, I merely point out the "KOHA"that has been made by the"elite" or"special "part maori" commonly known as a TREATY TROUGHERS!! they are not the average maori Bell, the average maori person is K1W1 just wants to get on with life, separatism, apartheid, racism has no place in New Zealand, a culturally hypnotised apologist such as your self can "yap" and "whine" as much as you like but that's all you can do, mind you, your really good at it!!!, but, nothing else, bad luck "princess".

Forestry trust

Posted on 20-10-2014 09:13 | By crazyhorse

Far North Parengarenga 3G Trust received more than $1-million two years ago has $13.41 in the bank after allegations that trustees paid themselves $600,000 and with a further $400,000 unaccounted for. ""MEANWHILE"" in Gisborne, a former Maori trust chief executive who was found guilty of dishonestly using her organisation's credit card to obtain about $15,000 this week had her sentencing adjourned in a bid for discharge without conviction. Te Hemoata Dawn Pomana, 59, the former CEO of Ngai Tamanuhiri Whanui at Muriwai, south of Gisborne, was "found guilty!!!" of using a trust credit card to make 93 separate cash withdrawals totalling $15,440, between December 26, 2010 and September 15, 2011. NOW THE BIG QUESTION, WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THESE PEOPLE,"""NOTHING"". Already been "found guilty" but looking for a discharge without conviction, treaty troughing has "no rules", put your head in the trough and "pig" out on the tax payer.

NGAI TAHU PAY YOUR SHARE!

Posted on 22-10-2014 20:41 | By crazyhorse

No-one can say that Ngai Tahu has not done well out of the settlement with the Crown of compensation worth $170 million in 1998,not including all the other full and final settlements before, with the net worth of Ngai Tahu now being in excess of $1 billion. However, Ngai Tahu have taken advantage of the income tax legislation and charity law to grow the settlement to the point which must raise questions about the privilege of the exemption, However, in order to discover the legal basis for their charitable status requires effort, for it is not evident on the Ngai Tahu Charitable Group details on the Charities Register - in fact there is no constitution on the Register for the Group that the public can read, hmm every one else has to put up the details, another case of different strokes for different folks,""separatist tax system now"". http://www.nzcpr.com/the-failure-of-ngai-tahu-holdings-corporation-as-a-charitable-entity/

PROFITS 4 NGAI TAHU 2014

Posted on 22-10-2014 20:55 | By crazyhorse

Ngai Tahu Holdings, the commercial arm of the dominant South Island iwi, boosted annual profit 20 per cent, with earnings swelled by $33.3 million, Ngai Tahu has been diversifying its investment portfolio over the past year, including joint investments with Waikato's Tainui Group Holdings in dairy technology manufacturer Waikato Milking Systems and national passenger transport firm Go Bus. Ngai Tahu generated operational cash flow of $47.9 million in the 12 month-period, down from $75.6 million in 2013 when its coffers were swelled by a $68.5 million Treaty of Waitangi settlement top-up, and the company had cash and equivalents of $25.8 million as at June 30. How do other businesses compete against these "separatist companies" they ""pay no tax"" only GST, they are classed as a charity, more treaty troughing, this time at the expense of K1W1 in business, "RORT?''or what campers.

Congratulations Ngai Tahu.

for showing the way. One of 27,000 Charitable Trusts in N.Z. That is one trust for every 173 people. All subject to the same I.R.D. rules. Once again, Ngai Tahu is singled out, could it be because they are Maori? Robin Bell.

National-Maori party agreement

Finlayson finally finds way to give NZ away,‘Co-governance' deals that give iwi business operators equal power over public assets to that of government agents. Tuhoe settlement is a case in point. At $170 million, its value not only equaled those of the major Tainui, Ngai Tahu and the fisheries settlements, but it also included the co-governance of New Zealand's biggest National Park - even though National Parks and conservation lands have always been considered ‘off limits' for Treaty settlement purposes. The latest "co-governance" the Kaituna river, National kept that as low 'key" as they could. Iwi have become experts at soft-soaping the public with talk of the ‘guardianship' of assets. Let's not be fooled by their rhetoric. Their agenda is to get their hands on as many public assets as they can, for private commercial advantage. This is evident in their claims for electromagnetic spectrum and of course, fresh water

Manipulating Charities

Posted on 24-10-2014 15:32 | By crazyhorse

According to their 2014 Annual Report, many of those working for Ngai Tahu have also done well. Some 44 directors and key management personnel have received over $5 million in short-term compensation and benefits. The number of employees being paid over $100,000 has increased to 92. Collectively they "trough" in the region of $20 million""", with the top "trougher" receiving between $820,000 and $829,000. Over the last twelve months, Ngai Tahu has more than doubled its annual profit from $77.9 million to $160.58 million. This increase is attributed to property revaluations, residential section sales, seafood exports to China, insurance proceeds, and the sale of Ryman Healthcare shares. With the company tax rate at 28 percent, this means that Ngai Tahu will have contributed around $45 million in tax to the government coffers; right? WRONG AGAIN CAMPERS!!!. And remember they only paid out to ""their"" people $31.36 million. http://www.nzcpr.com/manipulating-charities/

Honest Johny K?????????

Posted on 31-10-2014 21:31 | By crazyhorse

Which hat will John Key wear when he has a referendum on the proposed new flag design for New Zealand? Will it be in his "capacity as PM?" or "I will treat this as a one off binding referendum" (not the PM's style) or "a firefighter putting up a smoke screen to divert a larger fire from spreading?" Which ever hat he wears it will be one with a hidden agenda, that is for certain! Some honesty would not go amiss, John. Marie Kaire Ngararatunua Whangarei
