He's appeared in Rotorua District Court where he has been remanded in custody without plea until November 13.

Morrison is accused of walking into the ANZ bank on Cameron Road and demanding cash from the teller around 2.30pm on October 9.

Police say he left in a Nissan Pulsar, which had been stolen from Te Awamutu earlier in the day.

The vehicle was recovered in Tauranga the day after the robbery.

Morrison is also facing an aggravated robbery charge in relation to the armed robbery of the Selwyn Heights Four Square last month.

I hope this young thug doesn't get the "wet bus ticket slap on the wrist". Unfortunately he will go to jail and learn how to be a better criminal from his peers.
