Police and LandSAR have yesterday morning located a body belived to be the missing male they were looking for in the vicitnity of Mount Hector, Tararua Forest Park.
A recovery mission is underway with the help of the Air Force but it is extremely difficult due to the terrain and prevailing weather conditions.
