'Crazy rock' comes to Tauranga

Santa Claus is coming early for lovers of wildly crazy rock and roll when the Summer Family Tour hits town.

Playing December 13 are Japanese ‘hardcore blues' outfit Kings Brothers, Auckland punk's DHDFDs, and Tauranga's own chaotic three-piece Threat.Meet.Protocol.

This will be the first New Zealand tour in six years for the King Brothers, who are teaming up once again with The DHDFDs following the Auckland four-piece's tour of Japan earlier this year.

These two bands are thick as thieves and not only have they released a split CD together, they are also known to share the same stage at the same time during gigs.

Both are known for their high intensity shows so don't be surprised to see some stage diving or microphone swinging on the night.

And everyone's favourite loveable louts Threat.Meet.Protocol will get the audience fired up when they scream ad thrash about on stage from 6pm.

Tauranga will be the last stop of the seven-date tour which sees King Brothers and The DHDFDs travelling around the North Island.

This will promise to be one extremely crazy, off the wall show that will leave audience dripping with sweat from head to toe.

There's only 80 tickets available so if you hate being disappointed then get in now.

King Brothers and The DHDFDs Summer Family Tour with Threat.Meet.Protocol is on at Karma Gentleman's Club, 20 Hamilton Street, Tauranga. Doors open 5.30pm, bands start at 6pm sharp.

Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased via Under the Radar by clicking here.
