Police are in attendance at a fatal car crash on Tennant Drive, near Massey University in the Fitzherbert area of Palmerston North.
Cordons are in place and traffic is being diverted through the University grounds. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route or expect delays.
The road is likely to remained closed for some time to allow for a secene examination to take place.
