Accident waiting to happen

The changes they made to this road have created a danger as they cut the corners out and changed the road , which was obviously going to increase speed into a dangerous intersection and an accident was just waiting to happen, let's hope the people recover ok

You just have to wonder

whether changing the layout of that piece of road has been a good idea. At least with the tight corners in it people had to remain awake enough to negotiate the corners. All to fast through there now. More accidents yet to come. Watch this space. Mind you it is in keeping with the atrocious driving in the Bay. Millions spent on making roads straighter and more dangerous.

And

they just spent how much on this intersection to make it safer? You can put all the rumble strips, man n a van, stake out 4km over the limit and still this will happen because they are looking at the wrong people

Slow down & observe

I use this intersection every week, the improvements are great! T Bone accidents are because one party has not observed the basic road rule - STOP! The signage is there, Slow down & observe. Sadly innocent families pay the hard price, especially little people. Wish them all a quick recovery.
