Events around the city today will see a number of roads closed.

Today

Christmas in the Park (Blake Park), from Saturday, 2pm – 10.00pm

No road closures are in place for this event but please be aware of high pedestrian movements and speed restrictions on Maunganui Road between Hull Road and Hinau Street. If attending this event please follow the parking signs highlighted. A Night before Christmas – Mills Reef Winery (Moffat Road)

No road closures are in place for this event but please be aware of pedestrians movements on Moffat Road between Beaumaris Boulevard and Orange Lane. From 5.30pm – 9.30pm.

Road closure from December 26 to January 6

Evening Road Closures Mount Maunganui

The following roads will be closed from 8pm to 6am daily:

Marine Parade from Adams Avenue to Pacific Avenue

Adams Avenue from Marine Parade to Maunganui Road

December 27 - Eves Triathlon Shorebreak Aquatics (Main Beach area)

The following roads will be closed from 5am until 12pm:

31 December 2014 – 1 January 2015 - New Year's Eve Road Closures (Mount Maunganui)

The following road will be closed from 2.00pm Wednesday, 31 December 2014 until 8am Thursday, January 1: All roads north from Grove Avenue and Salisbury Avenue will be closed however vehicle passes maybe used to gain access.

New Year's Eve Road Closures (Tauranga CBD)

The following road will be closed from 5am Wednesday, December 31 until 8am Thursday, January 1: A one way system will be in place on The Strand from Devonport Road to Hamilton Street northbound traffic only.
