At about 3am, Police were advised of a male on Bank Street between the Cameron Street and Vine Street intersections that was unresponsive.
On attendance with ambulance it was found this man was dead.
The matter is being treated as an unexplained death and has been referred to the coroner.
The identity of the male has not been established and he appears to be in his mid thirties.
