Treating cancer doesn’t mean you have to go through radiation.
Justine Laidlaw and Jenny Kennedy are both examples of radical remission without undergoing harsh treatments.
Justine healed aggressive colon cancer without chemotherapy, and Jenny healed incurable stage 3C ovarian cancer using an integrative approach.
The two women will be sharing their stories early next month and speaking about the nine key factors of radical remission, researched and written by Dr Kelly Turner in her book Radical Remission - Surviving Cancer Against All Odds.
“Dr Turner, with a grant from the American Cancer Society, spent 12 months travelling the world studying 1500 cases of radical remission - people who had a complete reversal of a serious or terminal cancer diagnosis,” says Jenny.
“Of all these cases she studied she discovered there were nine common factors.”
The Surviving Cancer Against All Odds talk will be held on Thursday, April 4 from 7-8.30pm at Omanu Bowling Club, 62 Golf Road, Mount Maunganui.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased via: www.the naturalbird.co.nz
The Weekend Sun has one double pass to the event.
