Super-sized fun was the name of the game at the ASB Arena's Sporty Carnival on Monday.
Kids were forgiven for thinking some of their favourite games were on steroids as giant-sized dominoes, Jenga, and Connect 4 were part of the carnival fun, says Bay Venues programmes manager Simon Leach.

The Sporty Carnival, which was geared at five to 13 year-olds, got the second week of the school holidays off to a good start.
The action also included bouncy castles, trampoline, super-slides, basketball, obstacle-course, uni-hockey, scooter, running races, table tennis, dance and hula competitions and more.
Meanwhile, the recently-purchased super-sized games are proving to be of interest not only to the little kids.
Big kids are having fun with them too, as corporate team-building events are proving.
