The United States of America has a mission statement that reads: ‘We reserve the right to change the regime of any country that does not pay due homage to the USA and allow us to abuse them'. This they have followed fastidiously since the end of World War II with mixed success. For example, China 1945-1946, Korea 1950-1953, China 1950-1953, Guatemala 1960, Laos 1964-1973, Vietnam 1961-1973, Cambodia 1969-1970, Guatemala 1967-1969, Lebanon 1982-1984, Grenada 1983-1984, Libya 1986, El Salvador 1981-1992, Nicaragua 1981-1990, Iran 1987-1988, Libya 1989, Panama 1989-1990, Iraq 1991, Kuwait 1991, Somalia 1992-1994, Bosnia 1995, Iran 1998, Sudan 1998, Afghanistan 1998. Yugoslavia-Serbia 1999, Afghanistan 2001,Iraq 2003, Libya 2011, Syria 2012. Now the USA is claiming Russia has interfered with their elections. While I don't for a minute believe the US claims, it is just so ironic it's laughable. You reap what you sow.
