Curate Music (previously Mosaic Music) have released the first single ‘Carry Me Along' from their second album ‘These Eyes'.

Due for release on March 8, the new album, recorded at Roundhead Studios in Auckland is a compilation of original songs written by members of the band.

In November 2014, Mount Maunganui band Mosaic Music won the Tui Award for Best Gospel Christian Album category at the 2014 NZ Vodafone Music Awards. Within 24 hours of its release in April 2014, their album ‘You Surround' went straight to number one on the NZ iTunes worship chart and third in the Top 40 charts for all genres.

In February 2016, Mosaic church changed its name to Curate. Based at Mount Maunganui and Whakatane the church has a huge creative community made up of around 70 musicians and singers.

The musicians who play on their latest album are Si Hayward (vocals/guitar), Kelly Hayward (keys), Paul Jackson (Keys), Josh Turner (vocals/guitar), Steve Fruish (drums), Linden Cunninghame (bass/vocals), Georgia Lines (vocals), Kelly McNamara (guitar), and Adam McNeilly (guitars).

As a worship album, ‘These Eyes' encapsulates the journey of Curate Church during the last couple of years.

The songs are fresh and inspiring, with a soundscape of lyrics and melody that are a response of faith and commitment to God, encouraging listeners to connect with a God of grace. The band hope the songs will become anchors to help people hold onto their faith when times are dark, difficult and confusing.

What a great shame that the band could not have supported the local recording studios to record the single, what a wonderful Christian act that would have been.
