Lotto players from Matamata and Martinborough will have plenty of reasons to celebrate after each winning $500,000.

The winning Lotto tickets were sold at Paper Plus Matamata in Matamata and Pain & Kershaw in Martinborough.

Powerball was not struck on Saturday evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $5.5 million.

Strike Four was also won by a player in Auckland, who takes home $200,000. The winning ticket was sold at Barrack Road Superette in Auckland.

It's now been one week since a Gisborne player won $6.5 million with Powerball and Lotto NZ is still waiting for the winner to come forward.

'There's a Lotto ticket somewhere in Gisborne that's worth $6.5 million,” says Emilia Mazur, General Manager Corporate Communications at Lotto NZ.

'Checking that winning ticket will be a life-changing moment for one lucky person, so anyone who bought a Lotto ticket from Grant Bros. in Gisborne for last Saturday's draw should check it immediately.”

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ app.
