The Tauranga City Council is advising public of the temporary closure for a footpath near the harbour bridge.

The footpath on the airport side between Totara Street and the harbour bridge will be closed from Monday, September 11 until the end of October.

The track is being closed while work is done to upgrade a nearby water main.

'The main harbour bridge footpath that runs alongside the marina will stay open,” says TCC.

The council is recommending that pedestrians and cyclists use this alterative track during the works.

'There will be some traffic management so please be careful if you're driving cars through this area.”
